HBA Singapore | Hotel Raffles at Galaxy Macau

The design of Raffles at Galaxy Macau combines modern luxury with Macau's cultural heritage, drawing inspiration from the city's rich history and the imagined life of an Italian merchant. The interiors feature eclectic artwork and artifacts from the Silk Road, while the use of burgundy and gray tones adds depth and sophistication. The lobby features white Italian Statuario marble and a laser-welded ceiling, which floods the space with natural light. The Raffles Lounge & Terrace, designed like a jewel box, offers an intimate setting beneath a magnificent chandelier. The color burgundy is strategically used throughout the hotel, playing a key role in creating a luxurious and immersive atmosphere that combines aesthetic beauty with cultural narrative.
During my time working within HBA in Singapore, I developed this interior design concept with a three-member team. The design was approved four months after I was onboarded, and I was instrumental in ensuring that the project was approved.
