The cube house was conceptualized as three vertically identical levels; horizontally, the volumes of each level overlap on the left, center, and right; basement, ground floor, and upper floor, respectively.
The sum of the three overlapping levels forms a perfect cube, since the length and width are the same as the height. During the construction, the client made some changes to the original project, but the goal was always to preserve the original architectural and formal composition.
